FX, owned by 21st Century Fox, aims to bring drama and comedy onto your television set with the quality of premium networks (but without the price!) FX is available to over 94 million television subscribers in the United States, and as such boasts one of the highest viewerships on TV. Its programing is edgy, theatrical, upbeat, and up-to-date, so if you are looking for some of the best work in television, you needn’t look any farther. In addition to some of the finest original series on TV, FX also plays reruns of theatrically released films, sporting events, and other network sitcoms. With so much content, it would be impossible to catch it all on the first airing. Luckily, On Demand Internet TV allows you to replay your favorite shows on your own schedule. All you need is a device that is connected to the internet, like a smartphone, tablet, or computer, and you can watch the superb content anywhere, any time.
Many of my own favorite shows appear on FX. Among these is The Americans, the dramatic story of a married couple from Russia who try to pass as American born-and-bred citizens while they conduct their espionage work. The series, now in its fourth season, was conceived by a former CIA agent who became obsessed with stories of spies who had to try to pass as locals in other countries. It is authentic, realistic, upbeat, dramatic, and features some of the best acting and camerawork anywhere. Another of my favorite shows is the raunchy spy comedy Archer. This show is my current obsession, and I keep coming back to rewatch my favorite episodes on demand. The premise focuses around a privileged and reckless spy, Sterling Archer, who works for his mother’s spy agency in New York City. The agency is mismanaged and full of workplace drama mediated by a gossiping HR representative. If you like satire, off-color humor, and James Bond-style suave, Archer is must-see for all television aficionados, so never miss an episode and be sure to watch again and again!
It is no secret that FX is one of my favorite channels. From the immensely popular American Horror Story to reruns of the classic Married With Children, it brings high-quality television into your home. I recommend watching it online so that you can come back to your favorite shows again and again.
